Where to look for Fossils at Dunwich?

(Dunwich Cliffs, now overgrown) - 2003

Dunwich once a large city has experienced rapid erosion for many years, however during the last 15, this erosion has slowed right down and cliff falls are now quite rear. The reason is a large shingle bank which has formed along the Dunwich beach. However, you will find nothing in these cliffs, bones have been found when the beach is scoured out or washed up from the sea bed. Many have found a bones lying around the beach during winter storms, though these are quite rare. Like Covehithe, the bone bed is beneath the beach level. The only real chance of finding fossils is for the sea to once again clear away the shingle bank and wash new sections out, scouring deep into the bone bed.
